The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), led by Secretary Juanito Victor C. Remulla, Jr., held a joint press briefing today, February 16, 2026, following the discovery and coordinated shutdown of large-scale illegal tobacco manufacturing operations in Pampanga.

JANUARY 29, 2026 – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 3 Management convened on January 29, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Clark for the Regional Management Conference (RMC) for the First Quarter of FY 2026. The activity aimed to set strategic directions and align regional priorities for the year, reinforcing the Department’s commitment to accountable, efficient, and people-centered governance.

The path towards inclusive governance gained momentum on February 5, 2026, as the DILG Regional Team launched a strategic consultation series with the Municipal Governments of Guiguinto and Plaridel, Bulacan.
DILG Region 3, thru its Regional Information and Communications Technology Unit (RICTU), conducted assessment on the progress of 2025 BIMS implementation on December 5, 2025 at Greene Manor Hotel, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. It was participated in by all Provincial and HUC Information System Analysts (ISAs) along with RICTU and FAD personnel.
