DILG Nueva Ecija warmly welcomed the new Regional Director of DILG R-III Director Karl Caesar R. Rimando during the interfacing held on October 21, 2021. The activity coincided with the conduct of the Provincial Orientation on the Local Government Unit Compliance Assessment Tool.

Some former rebels and supporters from Brgy. 02 in the Municipality of Maria Aurora, on October 15, 2021, joined the Central Luzon's Regional Task Force ELCAC's conduct of Localized Peace Engagement and Community Consultation, to signify their official withdrawal of support to the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army (CPP-NPA).
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Local Government Code, DILG Pampanga gathered the local leaders of the province for a Leaders' Forum which brought to the fore the important and timely discourse on full devolution in relation to the Supreme Court Ruling on the Mandanas-Garcia petitions.

OCTOBER 19, 2021 – This year marks the 30th anniversary of Republic Act No. 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991. In line with this, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), through the Local Government Academy (LGA), Local Governance Regional Resource Centers (LGRRCs), and LG Sector Bureaus, spearheads the conduct of the Philippine Local Government Forum (PLGF) 2021 for the month of October with the theme "The Wonders of Devolution: 30 years of Strong and Empowered Local Governments."
