Thirty-six (36) former rebels from the local communist armed group Militia ng Bayan (MB) and communist terrorist group CPP-NPA received assistance from the Department under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP) following their voluntary surrender to the Provincial Government through the AFP and PNP.

On July 19, 2022, DILG Aurora OIC-PD Ener P. Cambronero graced the three-day Capacity Building Activity of the Commission on Human Rights for the Provincial Government of Aurora Human Rights Action Team at the Conference Hall, Provincial Capitol, Baler, Aurora.
The Vice Mayors' League of the Philippines (VMLP) – Aurora Provincial Chapter, in coordination with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Aurora, held the election for its new set of officers for the term 2022-2025 on July 20, 2022 at the SB HALL, Municipal Government of Baler.
The DILG Aurora Provincial Project Monitoring Team, together with the Provincial Government of Aurora and the Local Government of Dipaculao conducted thorough site inspections of infrastructure projects funded under the F.Y. 2021 Local Government Support Fund- Financial Assistance to Local Government Units (LGSF-FALGU).
