CAPAS, TARLAC NOW A DRUG CLEARED MUNICIPALITY

Capas, Tarlac- the Municipality of Capas, Tarlac recently earned the distinction as a drug-cleared municipality declared by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Director Gil T. Pabilona on December 10.

Capas was given a certification stating that the municipality is drug-free after complying with the 14 parameters set forth by the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) as provided in Section 8, DDB Board Regulation No. 3 Series of 2017, otherwise known as “Strengthening the Implementation of the Barangay Drug Clearing Program.”

DILG Region III LGUs and DILG Personnel Recognized on the first ever Awarding Ceremony

The Department of the Interior and Local Government Region III awarded the outstanding Local Government Units within the Region in the implementation of Locally Funded Projects as well as the Top Performing DILG R3 personnel at Kingsborough International Convention Center, City of San Fernando, Pampanga on December 5, 2018.

Capas, Tarlac – 2018 is indeed a fruitful year for the Municipality of Capas, Tarlac for having been accorded with numerous achievements such as the most coveted Seal of Good Local Governance, Top 8 Most Improved Municipality nationwide on the Cities/Municipalities Competitive Index (CMCI), RA 9003 Compliant on the Manila Bay Clean-Up, Rehabilitation and Preservation Project (MBCURPP) and just recently, the Local Legislative Awardee (LLA) for the category, “Outstanding Sanggunian in 1^st to 3^rd Class Municipality in the Province of Tarlac,” given on December 3, 2018 at the Capas Covered Court.

National Kick-Off Ceremony of Oplan Paalaala: Iwas Paputok CY 2018

Bocaue, Bulacan – 107 men and 128 women from Bureau of Fire Protection, Bulacan Provincial Police Office and the Municipality of Bocaue, Bulacan have come together early morning of December 3, 2018 for the National Kick-Off Ceremony of Oplan Paalaala: Iwas Paputok CY 2018. This activity was aimed to inform and remind the public of a safe celebration of the Yuletide Season and showcase capabilities and preparedness of the Bureau of Fire Protection in times of fire occurrences and other emergencies. Part of this was a Thanksgiving Mass followed by Motorcade traversing Mac Arthur Highway, Gov. Halili Road, Sta. Maria Pandi By-Pass Road, Taal – Tambubong Road to Municipal Compound, Bocaue, Bulacan.
