City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Central Luzon Local Governance Regional Resource Center (CL-LGRRC) successfully convened the 1st Semester Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Committee (MSAC) Meeting earlier today, bringing together key partners and stakeholders to foster stronger collaboration and knowledge exchange in support of improved local governance outcomes.

The activity commenced with an opening message from Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda, CESO III, Regional Director of DILG Central Luzon, who reaffirmed the Department’s commitment to inclusive and responsive governance. In his remarks, Atty. Nuyda underscored the importance of collective action and synergy in addressing the development gridlocks faced by communities today.

A series of timely and relevant presentations followed. Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Undersecretary Goddes Hope O. Libiran shared key developments and opportunities under the Open Government Partnership (OGP). This was followed by Ms. Maria Eloisa C. Vidar, OIC-Head of the Department of Health – Region 3 Local Health Support Division, who discussed the impacts and management of high heat index conditions, including a public health advisory on MPOX. The session concluded with a presentation on the implications of the rising inflation rate in Central Luzon, delivered by Ms. Bernadette Anne G. Franco, EnP, MA, Senior Economic Development Specialist from the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DepDev) Region 3.

These knowledge-sharing sessions provided a platform for robust dialogue among MSAC members, aiming to enhance inter-agency cooperation and align sectoral goals with regional and national priorities.

In recognition of their valuable partnerships, key agencies that have consistently supported DILG Central Luzon—particularly during audits and research initiatives—were honored during the activity.
