Baler, Aurora – The RIMTF conducted an on-site validation of the Provincial Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children (PCAT-VAWC) Functionality Assessment on June 10, 2025, at the DILG Aurora Provincial Office.

The Committee was assessed based on its organization, meetings, policies, plans and budget, and accomplishments to enhance efforts in protecting communities from incidents of trafficking and violence.

The PCAT-VAWC is composed of members from the Provincial Government, National Government Agencies, Liga ng mga Barangay, and NGO representatives. It serves as the policy and program coordinating and monitoring body for anti-trafficking and violence against women and their children efforts at the provincial level.

Following the evaluation, the RIMTF presented the final evaluation results along with recommendations for further improvements in functionality. The assessment team was composed of Central Luzon regional representatives from the DILG, Philippine National Police, Department of Social Welfare and Development, ACTION Inc., and the Department of Health.
