The Central Luzon Regional Poverty Reduction Action Team (CL-RPRAT) through the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) convenes the General Assembly of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in 130 cities and municipalities of Region 3 starting October 21 until November 15, 2015.

Out of the 19 applicants from the eight National Government Agencies (NGAs) in Central Luzon, 13 or 68.42% passed the Career Executive Service Written Exam (CESWE) held on August 22, 2015 at Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University (DHVTSU). Of the 13 passers, 4 or 30.77% came from the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region III namely: LGOO VIs Ener Cambronero, Renalyn Iglesias, Louie Manarpiis and LGOO V Yvette Cosio.

RD Florida M. Dijan shares with the trainees the right attitude and values of an LGOO

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 3, thru the stewardship of Regional Director Florida M. Dijan, spearheaded the conduct of the 10-day live-in General Orientation or the first component of the 50th Batch LGOO Training. The activity, attended by thirteen (13) trainees, was conducted on September 15-29, 2015 at DILG Regional Office Conference Room, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

After the thorough deliberation of the Regional Award Committee which was spearheaded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government, two (2) barangays from Region 3 namely, Barangay Cataning, Balanga City, Bataan and Barangay Kitang II/Luz, Limay, Bataan have been conferred by His Excellency President Aquino as the National Winners of the LTIA for CY 2013 and CY 2014, respectively, on September 28, 2015 at the Marriot Grand Ballroom, Marriot Hotel, Newport Boulevard, Newport City Complex, Pasay City.
