As part of the 24th Local Government Code, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 3 held an outreach activity on October 16, 2015 at Munting Tahanan ng Nazareth in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

In celebration of the 24th Anniversary of the Local Government Code, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region III spearheaded an activity dubbed as "Tagisan ng Talino: The Local Governance Challenge". It was held on October 15, 2015 at the Royal Golftel, Angeles City and participated by barangay officials and functionaries in the Provinces and Highly Urbanized Cities (HUCs) in R-3.
