Promoting a congenial Sangguniang Kabataan Pederasyon Election in Olongapo City, DILG City Director Amada T. Dumagat encouraged the SK Chairpersons to unite for the welfare of the youth during their SK Pederasyon Orientation and Election on May 28-29 at Subic Bay Peninsular Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government oriented Olongapo City's focal persons and representatives on the 2018 Seal of Good Local Governance on May 18.

Pursuant to the implementation of the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act or Republic Act No. 10742, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) together with the National Youth Commission (NYC) and the Local Government Academy (LGA) facilitated the conduct of the nationwide mandatory training for all elected Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials.

To establish partnership with the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the province of Zambales, the DILG Zambales headed by Provincial Director Armi V. Bactad, CESO V recently conducted an Orientation on Participatory Governance and Community Leadership to the members of Social Action Center of Zambales (SACZ), a non-government organization working with the Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines- National Secretariat for Social Action (CBCP- NASSA) on May 10, 2018 at the DILG Provincial Office.
