The Municipality of Castillejos’ local road clearing operations (RCO) validation team composed of representatives from the Municipal Engineering Office (MEO), Mayor’s Office, Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)- Castillejos, checked the compliance of the municipal government, including the fourteen barangays on January 22, 2021 — validating the actions taken by all stakeholders relative to the President’s directive to clear all roads from obstructions.

The Sangguniang Bayan of Masinloc and the Municipal Road Clearing Task Force, in support to the directives of Mayor Arsenia J. Lim, conducted a dialogue with the presidents of Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) and barangay officials to further reiterate the importance of their cooperation to the road clearing efforts of the local government unit (LGU) on January 21, 2021 at the 3rd floor Municipal Hall, Masinloc, Zambales.
Sanggunian Bayan Members Philip Aaron Eamilao, Norman Acierto, Arnel Aquino, Philip Cesar Eamilao and John Benedict Edora were present along with Municipal Engineer and Road Clearing Focal Person Ellender Eclevia, Philippine National Police (PNP) Deputy Chief of Operations PLT. Jessu M. Rendon and Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Cindy C. Cagalitan.

The peace and order and public safety (POPS) cluster of the Municipality of Castillejos chaired by Hon. Mayor Eleanor D. Dominguez convened its members on January 20, 2021 at the Rooftop of the Municipal Building to discuss the different issues affecting the municipality for the past year, in preparation for the year 2021.
Among the matters taken into consideration are — the accomplishments for year 2020, as well as plans in the pipeline for first quarter of 2021— concerning areas of peace and order, illegal drugs, insurgency, health and solid waste, and violence against women and children.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Zambales, in partnership with the DILG Regional Office through the Regional Information and Communication Technology Unit (RICTU), successfully conducted the virtual refresher on Gender and Development Plan and Budget Monitoring System (GADPBMS) for the focal person and alternate focal person of the 14 Local Government Units (LGUs) of Zambales on January 20, 2021 via zoom online platform. The activity was also attended by DILG Municipal Local Government Operations Officers (MLGOOs).
The activity was initiated to refresh the GADPBMS LGU focal person on how to access, navigate and encode their Gender and Development Accomplishment Reports (GADARs) and Gender and Development Plan and Budget (GPB) . Also, it aimed to ensure that the province of Zambales will be 100% compliant with the department’s directive per DILG MC 2020-105 dated July 23, 2020 regarding the adoption on the use of GADPBMS.

The road clearing inspection team of the Municipality of Candelariacomposed of representatives from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Municipal Engineering Office (MEO) and Municipal Traffic Management Group (MTMG)— scheduled the periodic inspection along the municipality’s main thoroughfares, public market and talipapa joints in Barangays Poblacion and Catol on January 14, 2021.

This undertaking aimed to ensure and amplify the LGU’s compliance with the road clearing directives of the national government— setting November 16, 2020 until January 15, 2021 for the local government units (LGUs) to comply as stipulated in DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2020-145.

The Municipal Road Clearing Task Force of the local government unit of San Antonio, Zambales­­ comprised of members from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) and municipal planning and development office— leads the on-site validation across the municipality’s fourteen (14) component barangays last January 13 and 14, 2021 to validate the outcome of their respective road clearing efforts which started in November last year.

The said initiative is in line with Municipal Mayor Preciliano M. Ruiz’s instruction for the immediate validation to ensure barangay compliance with the road clearing circular directive of the national government per DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2020-145.
