Zambales Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr. presided over the 4th Quarter 2025 Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) Meeting, reaffirming his leadership as the reappointed chairperson of the council.

The meeting showcased key accomplishments across Central Luzon, including the presentation of the Environmental Scanning Report, which outlined current security threats posed by communist terrorist groups as well as other emerging peace and order concerns in the region. These updates provided members with a clearer picture of the evolving security landscape and the collaborative actions required moving forward.

In his message, Gov. Ebdane emphasized the indispensable role of Local Chief Executives in safeguarding communities, working closely with the AFP and PNP to maintain peace, enforce the law, and confront existing and potential security challenges. He further highlighted the importance of proactive PWET (People, Weather, Enemy, and Terrain) planning and the continuous dissemination of accurate information—particularly to strengthen community vigilance and prevent CTG recruitment at the grassroots level.

During the session, the council formally confirmed Gov. Ebdane’s reappointment as RPOC III Chairperson for 2025–2028 and approved the resolution reorganizing the RPOC structure in Central Luzon, marking a strengthened commitment to unified and responsive regional peace and order efforts.
