Supporting Safe, Peaceful, and Service-Oriented Communities on Election Day

In order to help ensure the orderly conduct of the 2025 National and Local Elections, DILG Central Luzon, under the leadership of Regional Director Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda, activated its Regional Operations Center SANGHANDA (Sandigan ng Kahandaan) starting May 10, 2025 for real-time monitoring and coordination across all Local Government Units (LGUs). SANGHANDA served as the command hub for gathering field updates, managing reports, and facilitating immediate responses in coordination with law enforcement and concerned agencies.

Alongside centralized monitoring, DILG personnel, including RD Nuyda himself, were deployed for onsite visits to various polling areas to validate reports, check on ground operations, and ensure that election protocols were properly observed. These field inspections also focused on the functionality of essential community services, such as establishment of Daycare Centers and Health Stations near polling precincts, to guarantee that basic services remained accessible to the public.

Through these efforts, the DILG underscored its commitment to safeguarding not just the integrity of the electoral process, but also the welfare of communities during this critical time. A peaceful and successful election, the Department noted, requires both secure polling and uninterrupted public service.
