The Vice Mayors' League of the Philippines (VMLP) – Nueva Ecija Chapter held its 2022 Provincial Chapter Election on August 10, 2022 at the 2nd Floor of the Old Capitol Building, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

 San Antonio Vice Mayor (VM) Julieta E. Maxwell, as the interim VMLP Officer, called the election to order and facilitated the conduct of the election preliminaries. In her message, Vice Mayor Maxwell conveyed her hopes for a better collaboration among the Vice Mayors in the province. "Sa nagdaang termino tumama ang COVID-19 at nalimitahan ang mga pagkakataon na tayo ay nagkatipon-tipon. Ngayon, looking forward tayo na mas maraming aktibidad ang ating pagsasama-samahan na mas magpapaigting ng ating magandang samahan at pagtutulungan," she said.

On the other hand, DILG Nueva Ecija Provincial Director Atty. Ofelio A. Tactac, Jr., as the VMLP COMELEC Chairperson, presided the election proper. He presented the chronological order of the activities for the election and proceeded as scheduled with Aliaga VM Erwin Dyan D. Javaluyas and Pantabangan VM Monaliza H. Agdipa as VMLP COMELEC Members.

Towards the end of the election, the following were the proclaimed elected officers: Talavera VM Nerivi Santos-Martinez – Provincial Chapter President; Science City of Muñoz VM Nestor L. Alvarez – Vice President; Cuyapo VM Cinderella E. Ramos – Secretary General; San Antonio VM Julieta E. Maxwell – Treasurer; Gapan City VM Inocencio T. Bautista, Jr. – Auditor; Palayan City VM Romaric S. Capinpin – PRO; Quezon VM Mariano Noriel M. Joson, Lupao VM Glenda P. Romano, Santa Rosa VM Atty. Ethel Catherine Jean H. Angeles, and Cabiao VM Marcelino M. Simbillo – Board of Directors.

VM Santos-Martinez thereafter delivered her first message as the new VMLP Provincial Chapter President. In her message, she called for the unity of the VMs in the province. She also expressed her plans of further capacitating the VMs, particularly the first termers. "Dapat ang samahan ng mga Vice Mayors ay maging united. Dapat ay mayroong support group ang bawat isa na siyang magtutulungan kung mayroong kinakaharap ng problema. Sisikapin din natin sa VMLP na ma-capacitate ang bawat isa, lalo na ang mga first termers, upang masiguro ang competence natin bilang Vice Mayors," she said.
