CITY OF BALANGA - The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region III recognized the City of Balanga, Bataan as the best local government unit in Central Luzon in the city category with best practices in the rehabilitation of Manila Bay during the Monday flag ceremony of the city government today, April 1, 2019 at Plaza Mayor de Ciudad de Balanga.

On its strong commitment in promoting gender equality development, peace and order, campaign against illegal drugs and good local governance, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bataan, in coordination with the Liga ng mga Barangay, ushered in the Seminar-Workshop on GAPS: Barangay Gender and Development (GAD) 2020 Formulation, Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Action Plan, Barangay Peace and Order Public Safety (POPS) Plan Updating and Barangay Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).

Alasasin, DILG Bataan’s Showcase Barangay holds Assembly Day

Barangay Alasasin of Mariveles is the DILG Bataan's Provincial Showcase Barangay for the first semester of 2019.

The Barangay Assembly of Alasasin was conducted on March 31, 2019 at the Alasasin Multi-Purpose Covered Court with the theme, "Barangay Natin, Sama-samang Paunlarin. Makiisa! Makilahok! Makialam!"
